Employment of Registered Nurses is projected to grow 11 percent from 2018 to 2028 in North Carolina.

Nurses make up the single largest sector in healthcare. With more than 2.6 million nurses currently employed in the United States, there are more nurses than there are doctors, pharmacists, or dentists.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Registered Nurses have an average salary of $66,820 in the state of North Carolina as of May 2020.
